Program Services
Young families have special needs, and VNA leverages more than 125 years of expert in-home care to give parents and their children a strong foundation for life. Services offered include:
- Antepartum and postpartum assessments
- Newborn assessments
- Weight checks
- Jaundice assessments (including required lab draws)
- Breastfeeding assessments, assistance and education
- Medication management
- Diabetes education
- Asthma education
- Failure to thrive management
- Wound and burn care
- Surgical wound/dressing changes
- Referrals to other public health programs as needed
